Then we pumped an additional 10 times, and the plug swelled to 6" long and 4.25" thick (12.5" around). The picture of the inflated toy below is with the bulb squeezed 20 times. The plug is made from a very thick plastic, and is much sturdier than any other inflatable plug we've seen. Even inflated this much, it doesn't look like it's in any danger of tearing or popping. Still, we would not advice inflating the plug any more than 5 or 10 pumps.
